In early 2024, S3 developed a strategic alignment with NV5, a provider of technology, conformity assessment, and consulting solutions for public and private sector clients supporting infrastructure, utility, and building assets and systems. This partnership will further strengthen both S3’s mission and NV5’s to provide customer focused solutions including consultation, specialty engineering, and hardware/software services.
International WELL Building Institute (IBWI) – WELL
S3’s core purpose is synonymous to mission and purpose of IWBI – WELL. S3 will participate in the IWBI Healthy Building Policy Summit being held at Georgetown University, Washington D.C. on September 16, 2024. Leading brands use WELL as their evidence-based roadmap to enhance employee productivity, attract and retain top talent, demonstrate leadership and strengthen ESG performance. Daryl DeJean, Managing Partner S3, recently became a Cornerstone Member of IWBI, asked to participate as a WELL Faculty and identify solutions for consideration in Works with WELL network which validates that products and services align with WELL strategies by undergoing third-party review. S3 will be applying for Works with WELL network participation for our end-to-end approach to addressing indoor air quality.
California Hospital Association
S3 recently completed phase one of it’s initial project with a nonprofit healthcare company involving eliminating wasted energy and California compliance certification obligations. S3 created an EUI and Infrastructure Roadmap that will advance the achievement of the company objectives regarding emission reductions and decarbonization.
Halal Certified
S3 is pleased to announce that one of the technologies they recommend has been Halal Certified. Halal Certification demonstrates thatit does not include any “forbidden” components and has in no way been in contact with any substances or objects considered “impure”. Halal signifies what is ‘permissible’ in English and applies not only to food but also to various aspects of life, including finance, clothing, and behavior.
ASHE Healthcare Facilities Innovation Conference 2024, Anaheim, CA
The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) is the largest association dedicated to optimizing the health care-built environment. ASHE’s 12,000+ members design, build, and operate hospitals, and are involved in improving the health care physical environment from the time hospital blueprints are drawn throughout the lifespan of a facility. S3/NV5 had a booth this annual premier gathering to demonstrate how all healthcare facilities can remain continuously compliance survey ready while visualizing the real estate investment performance.
IAFP Annual Meeting 2024, Long Beach, CA
A member-based association of more than 4,500 food safety professionals, IAFP is committed to advancing food safety worldwide by providing a forum for food safety professionals to exchange information on protecting the food supply. S3 participated in IAFP 2024 since our end-to-end strategic approach to providing the healthiest and safest indoor air quality can revolutionize the procedures and process promoted in food science, food safety and food technology. The food industry is a key focus market for S3 due to the global impact our approach can have on the global food supply chain.
